History
The Aeromodelismo Osca Club, was consolidated back in 1982 as a sportive group. The team wanted to recover an activity that always was present in the city sports history and of course always well joined to those great local pilots that made history at Loreto and Monflorite airports.
Back then they used to practice the circular flight modality wich one of it´s best examples and well knowm pilot was Francisco Moreno that also won some flight Spain Championships back those days, then took place the free flight modality practised at Monflorite and Tiérs hills. This great modality gave us 3 Spain sub-championship cups and our big first championship cup in 1991.
At Alerre´s flight camp they used to gather together some motor trainner and free flight airplanes, spending great times with these pioneer free flight models of our current aviation.
Back in 1994 the Club moved out to our actual Igriés flight camp wich is located 10 km from Huesca City enjoying a great view and an obstacle free awesome flat terrain.
Afther tons of work! ( we got tos say it ) we have get one of the most importants and high profile Air Clubs of our country. We got a 300 x 60 mts flight terrain just oriented at 29 / 11 and facing for dominant winds from N-W that we call ( cierzo ) and S-W so call it ( bochorno ). This is a treasured situación ´cause the sun never invades our window flight. We also got a marvelous landscape wich is given to us by the Sierra de Guara ( Guara Mountain net ) and the Pico de Gratal ( Gratal peak ) a big highland mountain formation wich recently has converted in one of our Club Symbols.
Above the flight terrain we have asphaltated 2 runways. The first one with a 160 x 11 mts and the second one a brand new one runway with a 200 x 15 mts dimentions. Both got a few perpendicular smaller runways to serves as an easy access to boxes. These boxes back in 2002 recieved a full remodelation having now a 60 x 7 mts covered safe place plus a rc-controlled and judges zone that easy us a big deal for championship times. We also own proudly a huge green terrain, a very roomy cellar place for Club maintenance tools and hardware deposit, a Social building for pilots meetings and guest recieving, a 2 comfortable w.c. and of course with potable water and a very usefull shower just to cool of a bit in summer time.
Finally we got a big parking lot area for our pilots and guests vehicles.

The club has now 41 members wich 20 are Club owners and the rest are sportive members that of course also shares the runways and all Club Installtions.
Among the Club activities we offer a Training Flight School for the young and “not very young” people who wants to become a rc-pilot.
